Renaiss Hall

Renaiss Hall opened in October of 2005 as an arts facility operated by Bank of Arts Okayama, an NPO created in 1999 with the mission of restoring, maintaining and managing the former Okayama Branch of Bank of Japan. Bank of Arts Okayama was one of the organizations that comprised a community-based society for the preservation of the historical building. The building, designated as a National Cultural Heritage, was given to Okayama Prefecture in 1999. Part of the Okayama City's revitalization efforts, Renaiss Hall currently boasts a fully equipped performance hall and cafe with plans for additional performance spaces and a recording studio.
